About My Work

What I Do

My career at the University of Minnesota started in 2003 when I joined the College of Education and Human Development as a Digital Learning Projects coordinator. I provided instructional design and development support for the college technology-facilitated and web-based learning initiatives. In 2013 I joined U of MN OIT Academic Technology Support Services team as an instructional designer. In this role, I work with University faculty and staff to design media-rich learning experiences for students and promote responsible and thoughtful integration of technology into instructional practice.

Background

My educational background is in Educational Psychology, Learning and Cognition/Educational Technology focus. I have more than 18 years of academic technology support and instructional design experience developing academic and non-credit (face-to-face, blended, and online) courses, planning and implementing professional development and lifelong learning opportunities, creating multimedia learning objects, and designing multidisciplinary resources for teaching and learning.

When I have some free time, I can be found playing tennis, dancing, downhill skiing, and playing/walking with my wonderful bernedoodle Jackson.
