When I was a graduate student in Scientific and Technical Communication, I became a champion for the end user. I committed myself to solving issues that get in their way. Today, I am helping people across the university gather end-user feedback on projects big and small. My experience as an IT professional has given me the ability to uncover issues that hold leaders back from their goals. I help them meet their users, confront assumptions, and apply feedback to make changes. Along the way I've learned that some issues can't be solved with changing the product itself. So I'm learning to explore team dynamics, and assess how organizational problems affect people.
Outside of work I'm always on the lookout for a nice day to ride my bicycle. I also enjoy a nice cup of tea.
