I am, at my core, a user advocate. During my time in Usability Services, I've learned that even a great idea can derail if end-users aren't considered along the way. So, in my work, I want to help design teams make great experiences for their users and to see user feedback as inspiration rather than an impediment. Getting to work with a wide variety of project teams has given me a broad perspective on the University of Minnesota. That kind of variety keeps my role fun and interesting, and it keeps me connected to the wonderful factory of ideas for which I am so fortunate to work.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy hanging out at home with my family and am part of an 8-ball pool league team on Sundays.
