Webex Teams: Make a Call or Call Back After Disconnecting

This article describes how to make a call from the Clearspan Webex Teams (formerly Webex Engage) application for Voice Over IP (VOIP) phones. It also details how to call someone back if you have disconnected.

Note: VoIP callers should be aware of certain restrictions to 911 calls. Visit z.umn.edu/voip911 for more information.

Making a Call

  1. Select the Keypad button  on the side menu.
  2. Using the keypad on the screen (or the Search or dial textbox), dial the number.
    • Internal extension to extension calls can dial 5 digits.
    • External calls dial 10 digits (area code + number).

  3. Select the Audio button  to begin an audio call.
    • Select the Video button  to begin a call with both audio and video.

Calling Someone Back After Disconnecting

Method 1: Using Audio Button

  1. Click on the Calling button  in the side menu.

  2. Hover over the name/number you wish to call back. 

  3. Click the Audio button .

Method 2: Double Clicking

  1. Click on the Calling button  in the side menu.

  2. Double click on the name/number you wish to call back.
