TDX Reports: Use Reports

There are several existing reports set up in TDX for you to get started with. See Standard Reports Planned for TeamDynamix.

  • Note: If the report title includes the words Group or Groups, you will need to Modify a report with your own group's information before running the report in order to get any usable data.

This article covers these topics with reports:

View A Report

There are two ways that you can view a report in TDX:

Method 1: Use U of M Tickets to View a Report

  1. Navigate to the U of M Tickets tab at the top of the page.
U of M tickets tab in the TDNext application
  2. View Standard Reports in the left navigation area.
    • If there isn't a list of reports already underneath that category heading, click on Standard Reports to reveal the dropdown list. These reports cannot be modified.

  3. Click on the name of the report you'd like to view.
    • If any report folders have been created, they will populate as another category below Standard Reports, as can be seen here with the folder Incident Reports that has the report Ticket Types stored in it. If the report name has the word Group's or Group in it, it can be modified to run for your own group.

  2. Enter search criteria by keywords or report Owner.
  3. Click Search in the top left.

  4. Click on the report's Name to access the report.

Run A Report

If a report has been run already it will show the results when you access it, however if a report has been created but not run then a blank screen will show.

  • While in a report that has not been run or one that you'd like to rerun, run that report by clicking the Run Report button in the top menu bar.

  • Note: You may need to Modify a report before running it to get useful data for your user information or group information.
