Moodle 3.2: Customize Your Dashboard (My Home)

You can customize your Moodle Dashboard (My Home) page in many ways, such as:

  • Reordering the Course Overview list and hiding items at the bottom of the list.
  • Changing the location of blocks.
  • Collapsing blocks you don't want to see.

Customizing your Dashboard (My Home)

  1. Login to Moodle (moodle.umn.edu).
  2. Click Customize this page Customize this page button. in the upper right.

  3. Drag the Move icon Move resource icon. for any element on the page to move it.
    • You can also use the Move icon to reorder the listing of your classes in the COURSE OVERVIEW section.
  4. Limit the number of course sites in COURSE OVERVIEW:
    • Click the Number of courses to display dropdown menu and choose a number. The Dashboard now displays the number of sites you selected as well as a message stating how many hidden sites you have.

  5. Click the Hide icon Hide navigation block icon to collapse any block down to the heading.
  6. Click Stop customizing this page in the upper right when you are finished customizing.
