Find Your Moodle Course Sites (Instructors)

Moodle course links appear for an instructor in the Teaching area of MyU when the person is listed as the primary instructor in PeopleSoft and auto enrollment of students is enabled in the Moodle sites.

Accessing a Moodle Course through MyU

  1. Go to https://myu.umn.edu.
  2. Enter your UMN Internet ID and password and click Sign In.
  3. Click Teaching on the left.
  4. For each course in the listing, click the icon in the Moodle column to access that specific course site. If there is no icon in the Moodle column, use the instructions below to go directly to the Moodle Server.

Accessing a Moodle Course via the Moodle Server

  1. Go to http://moodle.umn.edu.
  2. Enter your UMN Internet ID and password and click Sign In.
  3. Scroll to the section titled Course overview. Any Moodle courses you are enrolled in for the current academic year should appear here. If you do not find your course site, go to step 4.
  4. For course sites from previous or future years, scroll to the Moodle Kiosk at the bottom of the page. Use the Search at the bottom of the Kiosk, if necessary. This searches across all versions of Moodle at the University.
