EDMS: Shortcut Keys

Shortcut keys provide a quick method of selecting display options and issuing certain commands without using the mouse.

Note: Shortcut keys are only available when enabled by your administrator.

The following table lists the available commands and the corresponding shortcut keys:

PrintCTRL + PDisplays the print dialog box for printing the screen (not necessarily the document)
Next page     CTRL + RIGHT ARROWDisplays the next page you are authorized to view.
Previous pageCTRL + LEFT ARROWDisplays the previous page you are authorized to view.
First pageCTRL + UP ARROWDisplays the first page of the archive.
Last page                                   CTRL + DOWN ARROW                 Displays the last page of the archive.
Go ToCTRL + GDisplays the Go To dialog box to jump to a specific page in that document.
Zoom in

CTRL + PLUS SIGN

(You must use the plus sign on the numeric pad.)

Zooms in on the document by the increments specified in the View dialog box.
Zoom out

CTRL + MINUS SIGN

(You must use the minus sign on the numeric pad.)

Zooms out on the document by the increments specified in the View dialog box.
View dialog boxCTRL + SHIFT + ZDisplays the View dialog box so you can specify the zoom percentage.
Fit in window

CTRL + ZERO

(You must use the zero on the numeric pad.)

Automatically resizes the document to fit in the window.
Rotate 90° clockwise

CTRL + SHIFT + PLUS SIGN

 

(You must use the plus sign on the numeric pad.)

Rotate image clockwise 90 degrees from its original orientation.
Rotate 90° counter clockwise

CTRL + SHIFT + MINUS SIGN

 

(You must use the minus sign on the numeric pad.)

Rotate image counter-clockwise 90 degrees from its original orientation.
FindCTRL  + FDisplays the Find dialog box.
