Drupal Enterprise 7: Creating New Content

In the University's standard Drupal 7 installation, one of the primary ways of organizing and presenting information is by using Content Types. Each content type is made up of various fields that contain specific information pertinent to the content.
In your website, you might have content related to your staff, with a content type called Staff Bios, that has fields for Given Name, Family Name, Job Title, Location, etc.

Every website is different and will use various types of content. For information about the specific Content Types that your site uses, please contact your Site Administrator.

After filling out the content type form, click Save.

By default, the content will be saved in a Draft state, and will not be visible on the public website.

Drupal has a robust publishing process, and the access to publishing is based on the users role in the site.
