Overview

The Assessment, Evaluation, Feedback & Intervention System (AEFIS) is the web-based end-to-end assessment management platform that facilitates the collection and application of real-time assessment data.

AEFIS is an all-in-one platform with integrated solutions that work together, from curriculum mapping and outcomes alignment, to evidence collection, to accreditation reporting. The integrated solutions are described below.

Curriculum Mapping & Outcomes Alignment

  • Manage curriculum mapping and outcomes alignment for all academic and non-academic programs
  • Create relationships among institutional, college, accreditor, program learning outcomes, and course learning outcomes

Outcomes Assessment & Evidence Collection

  • Collect outcomes assessment data and evidence using multiple methods and sources
  • Reduce instructor workload through automation of assessment data collection
  • Link Canvas assignments to outcomes based on curriculum map
  • Enable multiple assessors and score assignments using rubrics on any device in real-time

Outcomes Transcript & Competency Portfolio [CLR]

  • Empower learners with validated evidence of their achievements using Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR)
  • Create visibility into learning across the institution including curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular experience
  • Enable learners to take their achievements with them and digitally share portfolio with all stakeholders including employers

Strategic Planning & Data Collection

  • Manage and track university-wide, college and department strategic plans 
  • Gather evidence to support strategic objectives including key-performance indicators (KPIs)

Course & Syllabus Management

  • Manage course catalog and co-curricular experiences 
  • Create syllabi templates and central repository of policies that are hierarchically organized
  • Develop a single-source of truth for course learning outcomes

Course Evaluation & Feedback (not currently approved -- will be piloted fall 2021)

  • Automate evaluation and feedback campus-wide
  • Conduct formative and summative evaluations

Faculty Activity & Curriculum Vitae (not currently approved for use)

  • Create a central repository for instructor intellectual contributions, service, professional organizations and credentials
  • Build library of intellectual work that include scholarly journals and books

Accreditation Reporting & Self Study

  • Manage a collaborated self-study by assigning editors & approvers to sections to contribute or review
  • Preloaded professional and regional accreditation templates
