ServiceNow Reports: Use Homepages for an Overview of Your Current Work
Homepages within ServiceNow contain useful information that can eliminate the need to create a separate list or report. This article tells you how to navigate to your available homepages within ServiceNow.
Navigating to your Homepages
Click Homepage under the Self-Service section of the Application Navigator, or click the University block M in the upper left, to navigate to your last viewed homepage.
Click the dropdown arrow in the Switch to Page… menu in the upper left and select a different homepage if desired.
Note: Your Homepages may be different depending on your department and role in ServiceNow. The following are common useful Homepages for different audiences:
T2 CDS Fulfillment Homepage: Audience - Computer and Device Support
ITSK and Incident Page: Audience - Anyone working with Incident Tasks
Click any of the column headers (e.g., Number, Caller, Priority) to sort on that column. Click the same header again to reverse the sort.
When you refresh or renavigate to the homepage, the sort will revert back to the default for this widget.
Refresh the content.
Mouse over the upper right of the widget. Three icons appear.
Click the Refresh icon .
Note: If you delete a widget or add new content from a pre-created homepage, ServiceNow will automatically create a copied, customized homepage for you. The name will be prefixed with "My", for example Knowledge Action Items will change to My Knowledge Action Items. You can always navigate back to the original Knowledge Action Items homepage. See modify a Homepage to create your own for more information.
