A Gauge is a type of report in ServiceNow that can be added to a homepage like a filter or widget. Gauges cannot be created by the user, they must be requested.
Reviewing your available gauges
Gauges can always be added to your homepage, whether you have access to the underlying report or not. You can add a Gauge to your homepage and then later lose access to the underlying report. The Gauge will remain on your homepage, but the data will become hidden and unavailable.
Review the Gauges available to you by clicking the Add Content icon in the upper left of any of your homepages. The Add content window opens.
Select Gauges in the left-hand column. The middle column lists all tables that have at least one Gauge available, and the right column will list all Gauges available for that table.
Even if a Gauge is available, you must be able to access the underlying report to see the Gauge itself.

A Gauge for which you don't have access to the underlying report will display the message “Report visible only to a specific user or group”.
