Backup Content or a Course Site
Before migrating your Moodle course site to Canvas, you will need to create and download a backup file. The backup file is what you will use to import the course into Canvas.

If you are transferring an academic course, a shell site should already be loaded into Canvas for you. If your course is a development site, fill out a Canvas Course Development Site Request: z.umn.edu/canvasdevsite.
