Description
This guide will walk you through the process to "Park" a call, and "Retrieve" a call that has been parked. You might want to park a call if you'd like to send the call to another phone without transferring the call.
It's possible you've encountered other situations where a Call Park function has been useful: in a grocery store, the main operator might receive a call for the deli. The operator will park the call, make an announcement over the loudspeaker ("Deli, you have a call on 3"), and the staff in the Deli will answer the call at their earliest convenience. If you have a situation where you need to leave a call to be answered by someone else at a later time, this article can assist you.
To determine what type of phone you have, consult our Phone Model Quick Reference guide.
