My device does not support SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or authenticated SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). What options do I have?
Non-SSL SMTP and non-authenticated devices must use the University's relay server
Devices (such as servers and printers) which send email and are not capable of using authentication and SSL encryption must be registered via the Non-SSL Relay Request form in order to perform "plaintext" SMTP transactions.
