Transition to new voicemail system continues as Dec. 11 deadline approaches
The Dec. 11 deadline for transitioning to the new Twin Cities voicemail system is fast approaching, with only half of voicemail users having completed this transition. Those who do not take action by the deadline will lose access to their voicemail.
All voicemail system users should have received a voicemail with instructions for transitioning to the new system. While users are free to make the transition anytime before the deadline, Voice Network Services strongly encourages immediate action to avoid the last-minute rush.
This new voicemail system, which offers the same features that University users have grown accustomed to, was necessitated by the current system reaching the end of its functional life cycle. A similar transition for Rochester voicemail users is expected before the end of the year.
