The University of Minnesota is hosting NodeBots Day, an event that gives people the chance to build and program robots using JavaScript.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. It will take place on the Twin Cities campus in Bruininks Hall, Room 330 on July 25, 2015 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Those in attendance will be able to choose between two tracks: Nodebots and Nodeboats. The Nodebots track will focus on building a sumobot, while the Nodeboat track will allow participants to construct a motorboat using JavaScript.

Most of the supplies and hardware needed to participate will be provided. However, attendants are encouraged to bring their own laptop, as each group will need at least one to participate.
