The University of Minnesota is in the process of evaluating the learning management system in an effort to provide the best possible support for teaching and learning now and in the future. To help with this process, members of the University community are invited to share their input in a Town Hall workshop.

Recognizing that the University must support diverse curricula, teaching strategies, and learning styles, we need your help answering this question: “What must a learning management ecosystem do to support twenty-first century teaching and learning now and in the future at the University of Minnesota?”

In this workshop, we will ask the above question and facilitate a series of exercises designed to generate ideas, discover patterns and similarities, and prioritize findings. The report generated from these workshops will be shared with the University community as well as the University Learning and Technology Advisors (ULTA), a group composed of 28 faculty representatives from across the University and a limited group of IT staff and academic technologists, who will make a formal learning management system recommendation to the Executive Vice President and Provost and Interim Vice President of Information Technology and CIO by March 31, 2017.

Wednesday, January 11, 9:30am - 12:00pm ONLINE ONLY *NOTE: Registration for the online session is closed*
