Emerging Leaders Program now accepting nominations

The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is accepting nominations for participation through end-of-day, March 31. The ELP is a professional development opportunity designed to foster strategic thinking and the ability to lead, as well as to develop more capable management. The program accepts about 20 applicants from across the University system each year. Learn more about the Mor and Associates ELP program.

Eligibility

All members of the IT Community, including individual contributors, are welcome to apply. Eligible nominees should demonstrate:

  • Readiness and desire to lead
  • Willingness to accept feedback
  • Putting the University's needs first
  • Ability to commit the necessary time (approximately two days a month for 10 months) 
  • Energy and openness to personal growth

Nomination Process & Timeline

Nominations

To initiate the selection process, managers may nominate members of their staff  and individuals may nominate themselves by completing this online nomination form by end of day, Thursday, March 31.  

Applications

Following nominations, nominees will receive an electronic invitation to apply for the program. Applications are due by Friday, April 8

Endorsements 

Supervisors will be contacted to provide an endorsement of applicants, due by Friday April 15

Cohort Selections 

Nominees will be selected and notified by Friday, April 29.
