Have you opted into Duo Two-Factor Protection for Direct Deposit and W-2 yet? If not, March is a great time to do it. You can opt-in using our self-help instructions or you can drop in at one of our "Download Duo and Donuts" events. Friendly staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have and will help you opt into the service and enroll your device. No appointment necessary!
Duo Two-Factor Protection for W-2 and Direct Deposit is offered to all University of Minnesota employees free of charge. The service adds a second layer of protection against identity or paycheck theives should your UMN Internet ID and password get stolen. Duo works by requiring you to verify your identity by using two factors: your password and your smartphone, tablet or landline.
