RSVP today for March 16 Next Generation Network town hall
The University of Minnesota is in the early stages of planning for a mission-critical replacement of its network (wired and WiFi). Many of our network’s core components are more than a decade old and will soon be ineligible for vendor support. As a result, the University intends to pursue a Next Generation Network upgrade, able to meet today’s security and connectivity needs, and scalable to its expected future needs.
Join us Wednesday, March 16, from 12:30-2 p.m., in-person in 402 Walter Library or online via WebEx, for a town hall meeting to discuss the Next Generation Network project, including
Project strategy, scope and high-level timeline
Expected impact of the upgrade process on the University community
