Adobe Acrobat and Reader to be upgraded
Beginning on July 17, 2017, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the University of Minnesota will be performing a mass update of all Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions to Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader DC. This mass update will affect all OIT centrally-managed devices (both Windows and Mac) and all devices that OIT patches. Adobe Acrobat and Reader XI will be out of support from Adobe in October 2017.
System disruptions or downtime are not anticipated as a result of this upgrade. The most significant change that will affect end users is a new user interface within Adobe Reader and Acrobat DC. Learn more about Adobe Acrobat and Reader DC. Adobe Acrobat DC is now the default product included in newly-purchased equipment from the University of Minnesota Office of Information Technology.
