Update from Google: Storage Capacity

Google has announced new storage policies for consumer accounts (i.e., non-UMN accounts) that are either inactive or over storage limits. This includes data stored in Gmail, Drive, and/or Photos.

According to Google, this does not apply to Google Workspace for Education domains, which includes UMN Google. Until we hear otherwise, you should not expect any changes. Be assured that any future changes Google makes will be communicated to our University of Minnesota community by the Office of Information Technology.
