University Information Security Gap Analysis Process

University Information Security (UIS) launched the Gap Analysis Process and related training last year. Since then, more than 200 gap analyses have been requested and 120 are currently in progress. 

The Gap Analysis process is intended for units or individuals that support and manage IT resources. It promotes proactive identification and management of information security risks on an ongoing basis. The process includes analysis and documentation of the gaps between current practices and the required security controls defined in the University's information security standards.
