MyU Unavailable During PeopleTools Upgrade Scheduled April 23-24
On April 23 and 24, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday), MyU and other PeopleSoft applications will be unavailable while University IT upgrades the PeopleSoft development platform, PeopleTools, to version 8.59. This upgrade helps our PeopleSoft systems remain stable and secure, and ensures that we retain vendor support.
The project team has engaged our business partners to conduct pre-upgrade testing and to coordinate the timing of the upgrade to minimize disruption to the University. Please make note of this outage and plan accordingly.
Access to Canvas and Gmail
MyU will be unavailable for the duration of the system upgrade, however, you can still access Canvas and your email account.
Changes to PeopleSoft
As a result of the upgrade, PeopleSoft users will notice some minor changes to the interface.
During the weekend of April 23 - 24, upgrade information will be available on the University’s System Status page.

PeopleTools provides the underlying technology for PeopleSoft applications. All PeopleSoft applications, such as Human Capital Management, Campus Solutions, Interaction Hub, and the Enterprise Financial System are built and maintained using PeopleTools.
