Gemini Chat Deletions Are Now Available
You can now delete unwanted chat prompts from your list or start a temporary chat in Gemini
Google has rolled out a new feature that will allow Gemini users to delete their Gemini chat prompts and use temporary chats.
These features are enabled by default.
Deleting Recent Gemini Chats
To delete a chat in Gemini, follow the Delete a chat from pinned & recent chats section in Google’s instructions
Turning On Temporary Chats in Gemini
Temporary chats can be used in Gemini and will not appear in your recent chats or your Gemini Apps Activity.
To begin a temporary chat:
- Go to gemini.google.com
Click the Turn on Temporary chat button in the top right corner.
- The chat will say Welcome, stranger and you can begin your temporary chat.
If you close the tab with the temporary chat, start a new chat, or switch to a different conversation with Gemini, your temporary chat will be permanently lost.
