Moodle for Students: Upload a Video Assignment (Kaltura)
Applies to: Moodle 2.8, 3.0
Students: Your instructor might require you to submit a video assignment using Kaltura.
Kaltura is a Media Management system for the University of Minnesota. Kaltura will create derivatives of video files in order to deliver an appropriately configured file to your phone, tablet, or laptop screen when you access the link in your Moodle site.
Kaltura will work with all commonly used video file types.
There is a 2 GB maximum file size for uploading.
Uploading your video file
Click the link for the video assignment.
Click Add media submission.
Click Add New in the upper right corner.
