Occasionally error messages appear when trying to access the entire Moodle site or individual activities or resources within Moodle. This article lists common errors and how you can deal with them.
Common error messages include:
This error message only occurs in a newer version of Chrome with an older version of the Macintosh OS.
This error means your browser contains a corrupt cookie. It is usually not clear how the cookie got corrupted, but the last time it was generated something went wrong.
Solution: Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
This error can occur for a variety of reasons.
Example: Do not use emojis in any of your text submission! :(
Solution: Follow onscreen directions. If the problem continues, Contact Moodle Support
Typically you see this error message when you didn’t wait for something to complete in Moodle before clicking on something else.
Solution: Wait five minutes and try again.
If you encounter a different error message, take these steps until you reach a solution:
