Grading guides and rubrics can be reused from one assignment to another.
Adding an existing grading guide or rubric to an assignment
Go to the course homepage.
Find the Assignment you want to change and click the Assignment link.
Find the Administration block, then click Advanced Grading. The advanced grading page opens.
Select Rubric or Grading guide in the Change active grading method to menu.
Click Select an existing template.By default, templates already in use in the course site will be found.
Expand your search by including any grading guide or rubric you created in other course sites:
Check Include my own templates.
Enter a partial or full name of the existing grading template and click Search. Note: If you cannot remember the name of your grading guide or rubric, leave the Search box blank and click Search. All your previously created guides and rubrics should display.
Scroll down to the bottom of the template you wish to use and click Use this form as a template.
Click Continue. A copy of your grading guide or rubric is applied to the assignment.
Make changes to the grading guide or rubric if desired.
To make changes to the template click Edit the current form definition.
Modify the Name so you can tell the difference from the original guide or rubric.
Note: You cannot change the row order in a rubric. If you need to move a criterion, you will need to recreate the criterion in the appropriate row, then delete the old criterion.
When you are done making changes, scroll down and click Save.
