Changing your Internet ID can affect your access to many systems. Most changes update automatically when the user logs into Moodle. However, there are some exceptions that may require further assistance:
An expired account that gets reinstated
A changed employee ID
In the event of one of these internet ID changes, contact Moodle Help to request a matching change in your Moodle ID. Do not access Moodle until after your Moodle ID is changed or your previous work may be lost.
Students may request an Internet ID change, but these requests are only granted under special circumstances. If a change is required, it should be done between semesters. If the change is made mid-semester, they may lose access to anything submitted before the ID change.
