If multiple guest accounts are needed for Moodle, you can request access to bulk account creation. See Accounts: Account Requests to request access and for instructions on how to bulk create accounts. Note: guest accounts are created with a temporary password. When logging in, they will be prompted to create a new password.
Bulk adding or activating Moodle accounts
Send the list of IDs to be activated or added to a Moodle site to Moodle Support. You can send the IDs by email to email@example.com or use the Help Request Form and attach a text file or spreadsheet file with the list of IDs.
Note: Please do not send names or email addresses, only Internet IDs. Example: ivano001, moodle06, gx00034, etc. (for bulk created guest accounts list the underlying Internet IDs for each non-University email address (ex. G1234567).
If you want IDs activated on a Moodle instance other than the current one, moodle.umn.edu, please let us know which one (ay17.moodl.umn.edu, etc.).
If you want the IDs added to a Moodle site, send the URL of the site and the role (instructor, student, participant) you want the IDs to have in the site.
