Most textboxes for entering information in Moodle include a menu bar with icons that allow for easy text editing, image embedding, and external URL or file linking. Images can be contained within individual questions, and are often used in a Description question as a reference for a following set of questions (e.g., “Use the following pie chart for the next 3 questions.”). Images can be inserted at the time of creating the question, or afterward by returning and editing an existing question.
