You can add a Course Completion Status block to your course site to communicate course completion criteria or activity completion criteria to students.
Once added, instructors will see a block with a message saying you are not being tracked and a link titled View course report. Clicking the link displays all enrolled students' course completion progress.
Students will see a Course Completion Status block that gives a general status report. The More details link lists activities that must be completed as well as the students progress in completing the course. See Course Completion Overview on how to specify information for this report.
Adding a course completion status block
Go to the course homepage and click Turn editing on.
Look for Add a Block at the bottom of the left column.
Select Course Completion Status from the Add... menu. The page will reload, and the Course Completion block will appear on the left side of the page above Add a Block.
Click-and-hold the Move block icon in the block header and drag it to a new position.
Click Turn editing off.
Note: If Course Completion Status does not appear in the Add a block menu, it has already been added to the course.
