Older sites (created in versions of Moodle more than two years old) will need to be accessed on campus or via VPN.
At some point, older sites will be deleted. Site owners will be contacted before this occurs.
For more information on accessing older Moodle course sites, see the University Moodle support site on the Moodle Lifecycle Process. Hiding archived sites is recommended for all instructors to prevent students with incompletes from finishing without permission.
To access an archived course, simply click on the link within the Kiosk. To view all courses, click "Show all X courses" where X is the number of hidden courses. Any gray links indicate courses that are hidden from student view.
Students can be granted access to archived materials by an instructor. Usually, access is granted to students in order to complete any unfinished coursework or to access course materials related to future curriculum.
Instructors control availability of archived course sites. Hiding sites from students in the archives will prevent them from appearing in the students' kiosks.
Instructors who wish to grant extensions yet hide the course to others should change the student's role in the course to Participant. See Change or Add a User Role.
