Moodle 3.0, 3.2: Create a New Page in a Wiki Activity

Wiki pages are designed to be quick to create and edit. You do not need to know HTML coding; only a few simple markup methods are needed. To add a link to a new page, put double square brackets around a word (Example: ). Then save your editing, click the bracketed word(s) and the wiki brings you to a new page of that name ready for you to enter information.
Create a new page in a Wiki activity
On the homepage of your course, click the wiki name. If nothing has been entered yet, you will see the description and the name of the first page.
Click the Edit tab.
In the HTML text box, enter text to be the link to AND the name of the new page.
Enclose the text in double square brackets, i.e. .
Click Save. The text you just entered will appear in red italics without the double square brackets.
To enter text for that page, click the red text, and you will be brought to the edit mode for that page.
Add text and images as for any wiki page.
Remember to Preview and Save your changes often.
To return to the site homepage, click your shortened course name (just to the right of Dashboard) to return to your course site home.
