Moodle 3.0, 3.2: Add an HTML Block with Quick Links

The HTML block can be used for quick links, a graphic, a quote, or anything that will fit in a small space and add value to your site. You can choose whether the HTML block appears just on the page where it was created, or on pages of a similar type throughout the course site.
Adding an HTML block with links
Go to the course homepage and click Turn editing on. The "Add a block" block will appear at the bottom of the left column.
Select HTML.The HTML block will be added to the bottom of other blocks.
Click the Action menu in upper right of the new HTML block.
Select Configure (new HTML block) block.
Enter a Block title.
Enter text in the Content box, using the text editor to enter formatted text, URL links, and images.
To create a link:
Highlight the appropriate text.
Click the Insert link icon .
Enter a complete web address in the Enter a URL textbox. It is good practice to copy and paste links directly from a browser address field to make sure there are no typos.
