Moodle 2.8: Import a Participant List from Moodle into TurningPoint (version 5, Mac/Windows)
WARNING: TurningPoint Technologies v.5 will no longer be supported after June 2016. Resources for TurningPoint Cloud are coming soon.
Applies to: Moodle 2.8.
This article covers steps for importing a participant list from your Moodle course into TurningPoint. We recommend using the TurningPoint 5 desktop client, which you can download from turningtechnologies.com. They ask for personal info, but you can put in nonsense (for example you can use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org) and the form result still gives you a download link. If you want to import TurningPoint records into Moodle, be sure to record student names in TurningPoint (do not set your participant list to "anonymous").

Select Download from Integration, then click Create List.
In the Username field, enter your UMN Email Address (e.g., email@example.com). Note: This applies to users on coordinate campuses as well. Users in Crookston, Rochester, Duluth or Morris should use @umn.edu instead of the standard @[campus identifier].umn.edu.
