Jadu Forms: Understand Rules and Actions

 Rules and Action Templates

Actions (Found under the Templates tab)
An action is an event that occurs during the form submission process, such as sending an email or displaying a custom page. An action can be added to a form by creating an action template and adding that action template to a rule.

Rules (Found under the Rules tab)
A rule is a set of one or more actions that may occur after a form is submitted. It consists of three key pieces of information:

  • When action(s) should be triggered.
  • Action(s) that should be triggered by the rule.
  • Conditions that must be met in order to trigger the actions.

Note: All rules will run simultaneously, but actions within a rule will run sequentially.
If actions need to run in a specific order, they should be added to the same rule.
