Jadu Forms - Creating Logic Definitions for Perceptive Content
Creating Logic Definitions for Perceptive Content
Create a logic definition to create a unique ID that will help reference the Perceptive Content document to the submitted Jadu form.
Create a literal logic definition that appends the category of your form (ex: ‘T OIT’ or ‘T ASR’ to the form submission reference number.
If the primary or preferred name is being sent, it should be truncated to 39 characters using the ‘Perceptive Index - Full Name’ formula in a logic definition. This also formats the name to the standard Perceptive Content format of LastName,FirstName
All other index values being sent to Perceptive Content need to be truncated to 39 characters using the ‘Perceptive Index - Trim Value’ formula in a logic definition. This is necessary because Perceptive index fields have a max length of 39 characters.
It is mandatory to send the ‘Form - Reference Number’ an index value so there is a reference between the Jadu submission and the Perceptive Content document. It is best practice to map this to Field 5, however you can use any index field you wish based upon your business process. A literal logic definition can be set up to prepend the Form - Reference Number with a form abbreviation. Ex: T-OIT-12345
