A process map is a planning and management tool that visually describes the flow of work. Process maps:
- show who and what is involved in a process
- use visuals to show a series of events that produce an end result
- can reveal areas for process improvement
To set up Jadu CXM with XFP, you need to map your business process.

Identifying a Workflow Process
Identify a form that you wish to run through a workflow process. If this is your first process, start with a simple form to learn the CXM software.
Gathering Information
Gather information on your document's current life cycle. Understand who all needs to interact with your document and what other potential processes this will touch.
Questions to Answer:
- Where does this process start?
- Where does this process end?
- Where does it go in between?
Drawing Out your Process
Take time to use your favorite business process tool (ex. Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.) to map or draw out your process. Drawing out your process allows you to see the overall picture of what you are trying to accomplish.
Identifying Process Improvements
Review the process you have drawn up. Typically there are places where you can make improvements.
Questions to Answer:
- Does everyone who currently touches the document need to access it every time?
- Can you use automation logic to handle decisions?
Reviewing Your Process
After reviewing your process and identifying any improvements, repeat step 3 to incorporate them into your drawing.
