Phase one of the Online Meeting FCoP is complete! The executive summary and final report of the community's recommendations are now available! Phase two of the fCoP will include a charge to implement the top six recommendations listed in the executive summary.
The Online Meeting FCoP will bring together staff and faculty from across the University to better understand challenges posed by online meetings, and propose steps the University can take to improve the usability, effectiveness, and reliability of online meetings.
Topics the FCoP will address:
Do we have the right technologies available, from equipped rooms to software? Do users have an understanding of appropriate technologies for their needs?
Do we have the right help resources, and are they useful and easy to find?
Are facilitators using the technology and running the meeting in a way that delivers a consistent and enjoyable experience for all participants?
What can be done to improve the support model so everyone feels confident meeting online?
