Design has a huge influence on people's lives. What we design today can have a lasting impact on the world.
This year's theme was inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals, set by the United Nations (UN). These 17 goals on the 2030 agenda provide a roadmap to a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.
We are excited to announce our two keynote speakers for the day!
Morning Keynote: Amanda Costello - Content Designer, 18F
As a content designer at 18F, a digital services agency inside the United States Government, Amanda helps other federal agencies wrangle some of their biggest content problems. Before that, she was a lead content strategist at the University of Minnesota for 11 years. Amanda is an award-winning speaker on working with subject matter experts, building web teams, and sharing ideas to do good work. She enjoys filling out forms because it feels like taking a test where she knows all the answers.
Afternoon Keynote: Lynn Wehrman - Founder/President, WeCo
Lynn is the Founder/President of WeCo Accessibility Services. She is also a former Federal Program Coordinator and one of the first Digital Accessibility Specialists in state government.
