Managing Events with G Suite
May 21: Helping U make better use of G Suite apps
Assistant Program Director
Using Googles Sites, Forms, and Sheets to collect and manage event attendance. I can be flexible and would welcome suggestions. I've had great success creating a Google site for an event, embedding a form in the site, and collecting registration information via the form. I've done this multiple times. I can use the form to make nametags, track special food requests, etc. For the table, I thought I could use my past experience to show what I did, how it all worked out, and chat with folks a bit about how they might use the info going forward. I would love to hear a bit more about what the organizers are hoping to accomplish with this event.
Events involving 2-1000 people require unending logistical details: name tags, registrations, special catering requests, parking, etc. This presentation will demonstrate how we have used the Google Suite to support our events from the first planning meeting through registration, catering, advertising, and post event follow-up. We use Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and Sites to assemble smooth-running events of 1-10 hours in length.
