In the University’s standard Drupal installation, newly created content will be saved as a Draft. To publish content, return to the editing screen and change the state to Published. Alternatively, you could use the Scheduling Options to publish the content automatically at a future time.
At the bottom of the editing form, click the Publishing Options tab
Change the action to Published
Add a log message
Note: The content should be visible to the public nearly immediately. Please refer to the Caching article for more information.
Note: Drupal is role based (i.e., “content contributor”, “editor”, “site administrator”, etc.) Not every role will have the ability to publish content. If you do not have the ability to publish content, but feel that you should have the ability, contact your site administrator.
