If you apply to participate in an Institute of Technology 2010 May Session Global Seminar before Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, you will be entered into a pool of students who will have a chance at winning a $500 scholarship. 11/20/09 – Web site outlines need for new Physics and Nanotechnology Building

A new Web site launched this month highlights the University's request to the 2010 Minnesota Legislature for a new Physics and Nanotechnology Building on the Twin Cities campus. Students can support the project in many ways.

11/20/09 – Announcing a new May Session technical seminar to the Middle East

The Institute of Technology is planning to offer a new May Session Technical Global Seminar May 19-June 7, 2010 to Israel and Jordan led by physics professor Marvin Marshak.

11/20/09 – Apply by Dec. 1 to study abroad in China with Carlson School students

The University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management International Programs is offering Institute of Technology students the opportunity to join them for a study abroad opportunity in China in May 2010 through the course Management 3010: An Introduction to Global Entrepreneurship. The application deadline is Dec. 1.
