Welcome Week
Welcome Week is a six-day, on-campus experience prior to the start of the fall semester, required of all first-year students. This new program is designed to complement the Freshman Orientation experience, and provide opportunities to enhance academic and personal success for first-year students. If you are a freshman in the Class of 2012, you will receive more information about Welcome Week in the mail, as well as orientation and college specific information, in the coming months. 8/27/08 – Important career events set for September Institute of Technology students are invited to two career events in September--a Career Exploration Panel on Sept. 16 and the IT Career Fair on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. 8/26/08 – New entrepreneurship class offered this fall for IT students A new course this fall on the East Bank, taught by software entrepreneur Dan Grigsby, will focus on technology-based entrepreneurship. 8/25/08 – New live IT Webcam lets you check out Northrop Mall from your computer Check out our new Institute of Technology live streaming Webcam that overlooks the University's Northrop Mall on the East Bank.
