Voice Network Services
Voice Network Services provides University of Minnesota end users with telephone service over both a traditional private branch exchange (PBX) as well as voice over internet protocol (VOIP) on the network. In addition to the telephone services, we offer a variety of companion services such as voicemail messaging, auto attendants, call centers, and more.
We work with University departments to design a call center that meets their unique requirements for tracking calls, forecasting staffing needs, containing costs and monitoring calls for quality assurance.
The University of Minnesota has contracted with InterCall to provide audio and web conferencing services.
Telephone Services at the University offers a range of voice communication options, from traditional landlines and analog office-based telephone systems to VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) services, emergency phones, and discounts on cell phones and cell phone services.
