Wireless network service is available to University of Minnesota community members and visitors through radio frequency (RF) and varies depending on obstacles it encounters, such as walls, elevators, and cubicles. Access points (APs) provide the RF and also have capacity limits for the number of connections that can utilize their services.
To view maps indicating where you can access wireless service in different buildings, select the plus sign next to a building name below, then select a floor number. There are two types of maps which populate this site. Projection maps based upon our wireless server, and actual survey site analysis maps.
Note: The functionality of this map is such that if wireless does not exist on a floor and does not have a map, the floor will not appear for selection.
