Data Center Operations Services

The University of Minnesota Data Centers are secure co-location facilities with uninterrupted power supplies (battery and generator), redundant cooling, and network connectivity. These common good facilities are managed by the Office of Information Technology (OIT), collegiate, and administrative unit-critical hardware.

Service Offerings

  • HP Deskjet F4480 printer

    Enterprise Applications Printing

    We centrally define printers to some enterprise applications for printing reports and ad-hoc queries, including PeopleSoft modules and related applications such as PeopleSoft HR/SA and PeopleSoft Financials.

  • Report printing on a printer

    Enterprise Applications Production Scheduling

    This service provides scheduling information for centrally scheduled production batch jobs, mostly related to PeopleSoft-centric batch schedules implemented in the AutoSys scheduling tool.

  • File folders with tabs

    Enterprise File Transfer

    This service manages file transfers out of and into PeopleSoft Financials.

     

  • Hands on Server help

    Tenant Server Hosting

    The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers its Tenant Server Hosting service for collegiate and administrative units to house their physical servers in a secure data center.
