Nonadmitted students

Nonadmitted students can take science, engineering, or mathematics courses through the College of Continuing Education. You may also take daytime classes if you meet course prerequisites; however, enrollment in day classes may be reserved for admitted students only or limited to a few openings for nonadmitted students. If think you might want to apply those courses toward an IT degree program in the future, contact the Office of Student Services to discuss your plans with an advisor.

If you have a baccalaureate degree and want to take credit courses as preparation for or prerequisite to graduate study, contact the Graduate School and the department offering the program in which you're interested for more information.

If you've previously attended a University of Minnesota campus or college, contact the Office of Admissions and IT's Office of Student Services for information on readmission (612-624-8504 or itsa@umn.edu).
